Botolan, Zambales continues to advance its digital transformation efforts in local governance. On April 7–8, 2025, the municipality officially launched SugarTech’s Real Property Tax Administration System (RPTAS), a platform designed to modernize Real Property Tax administration and improve the efficiency of local government operations.

By adopting RPTAS, Botolan has taken a major step toward a more efficient and transparent property assessment process. The system automates key administrative tasks, ensures data accuracy, and gives local officials quick access to reliable property information that supports faster and better service for residents.

Before the official go-live, municipal staff and officials underwent comprehensive handson training facilitated by SugarTech. The sessions covered key system functions, data handling, and real-world applications to ensure users were fully equipped to operate the platform effectively.

With RPTAS in place, Botolan can now generate reliable assessment reports, enhance transparency, and make data-driven decisions that support effective governance and community development.

The adoption of SugarTech’s RPTAS highlights the municipality’s commitment to embracing digital solutions that promote efficiency, accountability, and better public service. Botolan’s digital journey reflects the growing momentum of local governments in Zambales toward modern, technology-enabled administration.
